Quick Access
All features are accessible from the Pointa sidebar. Click the extension icon to open the sidebar, then:
- Annotate: Click elements and add comments or edit styles visually
- Report Issue: Start recording a bug session or performance investigation
- Ask AI: Send annotations to your connected AI tool
- Sync to Linear: Sync annotations and issues to Linear

Annotations
The core of Pointa. Click any element on your page, add a comment describing what you want changed, and let AI implement it. Supports multi-turn conversations for iterative feedback.
Design Mode
A visual CSS editor that lets you modify styles in real-time. Adjust spacing, colors, typography, and more - then submit your changes for AI to implement in actual code.
Bug Reporting
Record bug reproduction sessions with full context. Captures console logs, network requests, user interactions, and even backend server logs (via pointa dev).
Performance Monitoring
Investigate performance issues by recording resource timing, slow resources, and user interactions. Helps AI understand and fix performance bottlenecks.
Inspiration Mode
Capture UI components from ANY website (not just localhost). Save screenshots and CSS metadata to reference when asking AI to build similar designs.
Sidebar Interface
The central hub for managing all your annotations, bug reports, and design changes. Features include filtering, status tracking, and theme support.
