Workflows Overview
This section covers common workflows and best practices for using Pointa effectively.
Available Workflows
| Workflow | Description |
|---|---|
| Annotation Workflow | Complete lifecycle from creation to completion |
| Bug Debugging Workflow | Investigate and fix bugs with AI |
| Design Iteration Workflow | Visual design loop with AI implementation |
Choosing the Right Workflow
"I want to change how something looks"
Use: Annotation Workflow or Design Iteration Workflow
- For text/copy changes → Annotation
- For spacing, colors, typography → Design Mode
- For complex visual changes → Combine both
"Something is broken"
Record the bug with timeline context, then let AI investigate and fix.
"I want to iterate on a design"
Use: Design Iteration Workflow
Make visual edits, have AI implement, review, and repeat.
General Tips
Batch Similar Tasks
Add multiple related annotations before asking AI to implement. This is more efficient than one-at-a-time.
Be Specific
The more specific your feedback, the better AI can implement it. Include values, colors, and specific behaviors.
Review Before Completing
Always review AI's work before marking as done. It's easier to iterate while context is fresh.
Use the Right Feature
- Quick feedback → Annotations
- Visual tweaking → Design Mode
- Bugs → Bug Reporting
- Performance → Performance Monitoring
