Sidebar Navigation

Action How
Switch tabs Click "Active" or "To Review"
View annotation Click annotation in list

Tips

Quick Toggle

The fastest way to open/close Pointa:

  1. Pin the extension to your toolbar
  2. Single click to toggle sidebar

Fast Annotation

  1. Open sidebar (click icon)
  2. Click directly on element (enters annotation mode automatically)
  3. Type feedback
  4. Press Enter or click Submit

Exit Anything

When in doubt, press Escape:

  • Closes modals
  • Exits annotation mode
  • Exits design mode
  • Stops recording

Browser Shortcuts

These Chrome shortcuts work well with Pointa:

Shortcut Action
Cmd/Ctrl + R Refresh page (see implemented changes)
Cmd/Ctrl + Shift + R Hard refresh (clear cache)
F12 / Cmd + Option + I Open DevTools

Custom Shortcuts

Chrome allows setting custom shortcuts for extensions:

  1. Go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts
  2. Find Pointa
  3. Set your preferred shortcut for "Activate the extension"
